In a one-hour boxing class, participants get the most intensive calorie-burning program combined with some of the best toning benefits available at Bodies in Motion. Scientific studies have shown boxing training programs are some of the most effective and efficient calorie burning exercise programs. Participants at our boxing club workout for up to 40 minutes per class on 150 pound, soft-filled heavy bags, punching and performing combination drills anywhere from 25 to 200 times per minute. Our boxing club has a boxing ring downstairs in which we hold sparring boxing classes where the students really get a chance to show off what they've learned in the ring. Members can practice their punches in our huge, steel-structured room containing 36 150 pound, soft-filled punching bags, or take one of 60 boxing classes offered weekly.

Our boxing exercise workouts develop every major muscle group in the body intensely. Participants may perform up to 7,000 repetitions per boxing class, which builds long, lean muscle tissue—and creates that hard body look. Most people are unaware that almost all boxers do not conventionally weight train, but instead rely exclusively on bag work to develop the extreme muscular definition they’re known for. Coaches at our Boxing Club specialize in boxing techniques, focusing on a wide range of skills from the basic stance to advanced combination moves. Bodies in Motion offers you boxing techniques which are practiced utilizing basic punches and footwork drills using jump ropes, heavy bags and focus mitts. By practicing the boxing exercise workout drills, one increases his/her agility, endurance, muscular tone, strength and coordination.

We teach real boxing techniques with real fighters as instructors. This is one of the best suited self-defense programs to help keep you safe in any street fight or potential physical confrontation. Private boxing training is available for more personalized attention to learning knockout techniques and helping you to learn how to protect yourself in the event of a threatening situation. Enhanced boxing techniques are part of the personal training curriculum that we provide at Bodies in Motion. Private and semi-private sessions are available everyday with our professional staff of boxing and kick boxing trainers.
